Space Coast Stadium, which is widely recognized as a fixture on the Brevard County landscape, became the official spring training headquarters for the Washington Nationals baseball team. Situated comfortably between Viera and Orlando, the stadium is as sophisticated as it is practical. McCree provided construction management services on the existing structure, transforming it from an aging space to a contemporary arena suitable for both professional sports teams and local area events. McCree completed work on almost every corner of the grounds from sidewalks to dugout flooring. We updated the padding on the extensive fencing, the batting cages, and all of the signage inside and outside of the stadium. McCree also renovated the preferred seating areas. The most significant aspect of the project was the scoreboard renovation, designed to complement the futuristic charm of Brevard County and recognized as one of the last hand-operated scoreboards in the baseball realm.
