Orlando Health Medical Office SODO

Project Overview

When Orlando Health decided to build their Health Education and Strategic Communications offices in the SODO complex south of Downtown Orlando, they hired McCree to do an interior build-out. The first floor of this fast-tracked Orlando Health project housed now houses the 24,000 square foot Health Education segment, while the second floor houses the 10,500 square foot Strategic Communications department. The $3 million projects both included new electrical and mechanical systems, lobby areas, offices, conference rooms, break rooms, and site work. The project was completed with excellent quality and beautiful, modern finishes. McCree’s construction management role provided steady oversight during preconstruction and field execution, helping the team coordinate scope, schedule, phasing, and quality from start to finish. The completed facility provides a clean, welcoming environment built to support care delivery and long-term performance.

Client Testimonial
McCree was the design/builder for renovations to our SODO facility. This fast paced project included several renovations of spaces exceeding 50,000 square feet to be designed and built within 3 months. McCree not only met our needs in schedule, but they exceeded them as well. They completed the design and construction in only 2 ½ months. An integral part of the success of this team is their unique 10 Step Design Build Process. We have seen this approach be successful time and time again to expedite schedule and save overall cost, without jeopardizing the beautiful quality of buildings McCree produces.
