Orlando Science Center Classrooms

Project Overview

McCree completed multiple renovations for the Orlando Science Center, including classrooms, a new concession stand, an elevator extension, and a new flight simulation lab exhibit. Each space was planned to refresh the guest experience while supporting the educational mission of one of the region’s most recognizable attractions. As general contractor, McCree focused on disciplined field execution, coordination, and craftsmanship to deliver the work efficiently and with minimal disruption. Because the renovations were located throughout an active facility, construction activities required careful scheduling to allow the Science Center to remain open and accessible to visitors. The completed improvements give the client updated, engaging spaces that support learning, operations, and the overall guest experience.

Client Testimonial

The STEM Discovery Center consists of seven state of the art classrooms that can allow both children and adults to learn more about not only science but creativity, ingenuity and so much more. The Flight Simulation Lab is a collaboration with the Office of Naval Research and uses virtual reality headsets to let participants engage in flying simulated missions. Orlando Science Center is proud to partner with McCree on these and future projects. Their professionalism, adaptability and devotion to their customer’s satisfaction are commendable.
