Valencia College Building 10

The Valencia College Building 10 represented an important step in Valencia’s goal of offering a superlative education experience to both Florida residents and people from across the world. It is a three- story building with 60,000 square feet of advanced classrooms, offices and study space. McCree also integrated a new data center into the building’s design as well as smart boards, adjustable tie-ins for tablets and computers, and Wi-Fi. Prior to construction, McCree was able to save the college nearly a half-million dollars by strongly suggesting an updated geotechnical report which disproved prior reports of an existing sinkhole in the area. Through McCree’s design-build approach, planning, design, and construction stayed aligned around budget, constructability, and long-term performance. The completed project provides a durable, organized environment built for learning and long-term campus use.
