Michael Waldrop Named Vice President of Construction

ORLANDO, Fla. (March 14, 2008) – Michael Waldrop has been named Vice President of Construction for McCree General Contractors & Architects..

Formerly the Vice President of Business Development, Waldrop has been a key figure in the McCree family of employees for six years. Waldrop has successfully held the positions of Estimator, Project Engineer, Project Manager and Director of Pre-Construction Services.

“I am excited to be able to use my leadership abilities and knowledge of construction in a way that I know will benefit our employees and our industry,” said Waldrop. As the Vice President of Construction, Waldrop will oversee planning, development, coordination and completion of McCree’s multi-million dollar construction services firm.

Waldrop is a graduate of Clemson University. In addition to his involvement with several charitable organizations, he also serves on the Board of Directors for the West Orange Chamber of Commerce, and the Salvation Army’s Advisory Board. As an Infantry Captain in the United States Army, Waldrop served a one-year tour in Afghanistan from 2006-2007.
